Obituary of Angela R. Goas

Angela Rosa Goas, 87, of Pembroke Pines, FL, passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2024, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. A funeral mass will be held at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church, 8330 Johnson Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024, on May 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Vista Memorial Gardens 14200 NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. Angela was born in Havana, Cuba to Angel and Amalia Fernandez on October 2, 1936. She worked in the banking industry for many years in Miami Dade County, ending her career as a Bank Manager. Angela enjoyed traveling, music, dancing, gardening, and photography and scrapbooking. Above all, spending time with her family and friends was her love in life. Angela was also very involved in her church community. She volunteered her financial expertise in the office of the church and loved socializing with her church friends. Angela is survived by her sons Jose (Barbara), Angel, and Francisco Goas, Maria Goas and 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many other loving family members. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Goas, son Alejandro Goas, sister Esperanza Nibot and brother Santiago Fernandez, and other loving family members. Memorial donations may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 8330 Johnson Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Boniface Catholic Church and community for the joy they brought to Angela’s life and extending their loving assistance to the family in this difficult time.
